This is a reminder for anyone who may have taken a Santiago Canyon College Placement Test AFTER the one that was offered at Valencia. If you did, but have not picked up a permission slip for the field trip taking place this Thursday to Santiago Canyon College, you MUST come see Mrs. Douglas in counseling no later than today, Wednesday morning if you plan on attending this field trip.

Attention all 11^th and 12^th grade student who have not passed the California High School Exit Exam. The exam will take place, THIS week, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8^th and 9^th. Also, Any 10^th grade student who was absent during the March test will also be taking the test. You must bring your ID card for testing on both days!!! The 5th Annual FAA (Film as Art) Festival is May 15th. If you would like to enter a film for consideration, the deadline is May 7th. There are two categories: Narrative short and Music Video/montage. Tiger Pride Day!

Tiger Pride Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st from 8-Noon. We will be completing a number of painting and cleaning projects throughout the campus. Sign up with Ms. Watkins or Mr. Lopez.

Tynes Carnival

Need some community service hours?

Tynes Elementary School we will be holding a carnival on Friday, June 1 and would love to get the word out to the students of Valencia High School that we need help! If you would like to volunteer from 3-7pm on June 1st, Please sign up with Ms. Watkins in room 622.

Student Poll Workers

Poll workers are needed for the Presidential Primary Elections on June 5, 2012. If you are at least 16 years of age, and have at least a 2.5 GPA you are eligible to train and work the polls. Ms. Watkins has more information, so stop by room 622 if you are interested. If we can get at least 20 volunteers we can host the training on site!
