WELCOME!

 

I am thrilled to be your teacher and consider it a privilege to work with you.  I have taught English since 1999 and have spent the last thirty years involved in various youth work.  I enjoy teaching, working with, and encouraging young people.

The aspects of inquiry, tenacity, humility, engagement, collaboration, and authentic performance in Language Arts and Theory of Knowledge are my passion.  Whether it is performing as a writer, a speaker, or just enjoying a good story, the next nine months will involve many authentic opportunities for reading, writing, speaking, listening, and collaborating with the goal of helping you go beyond your potential as a thinker, reader and writer.
