Mrs. Millam's Web Page
Mrs. Joy Millam
Hi, welcome to my little space on the site. Hopefully, you have been through the whole site and gained all kinds of insight into what the Valencia Library has to offer. This is my area to tell you all a little about me. Thanks for visiting our site, and I hope to see you in the library soon! |
 | One thing you must know is that I am an Anaheim Angels FANATIC!
Check out all the red, we were thundering down on the Minnesota Twins in the final game of the 2002 AL Championship Series. I was sitting in the nosebleed section, but I didn't care. It was incredible. Go Angels!
Beyond my Angels fanaticism, I am an ordinary person. I have been married to my husband for more than 9 years and we have three girls between us. Ali is 21, Jesseca is 18, and Chelsea is 18 also. Jesseca graduated from Valencia in 2009. We also have a cat who ignores us, her name is Catalina. We are an ecclectic group with a wide variety of interests. We recently got into the sport of geo-caching. It is a fun way to get in some exercise. Individually, Todd enjoys outdoor sports such as hiking (most recent hike was Mt. Whitney) and mountain biking, Jess loves sailing and the beach, and Chelsea enjoys dancing. As for me, I love scuba diving, reading and doing all types of crafts (most recent obsession- scrapbooking).
Yosemite rules! We love to travel. We've taken family trips to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Mammoth Mtn, Las Vegas (on our way to the Grand Canyon), Ensenada, London, and Lake Tahoe. We usually go with some of the extended family- the kids all have so much fun together. Of all the places we've gone though; Yosemite is my absolute favorite! It is the most amazing place! My favorite place outside of the United States is London. That was an incredible trip and I haven't experienced anything like it. Everything is so rich in history and legacy. A truly cosmopolitan city with wonderful people from all over the world.
Thanks again for visiting. I hope you learned a few things, and found everything you needed. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see on our site. This site is meant to serve the educational needs of the Valencia High School students, staff and surrounding community. Your feedback is appreciated and we hope to hear from you soon. |
