Based on the topics you research and select, pick the one you think most interests you and has the most potential for depth in research. Once you do this, you will research the topic and create a basic outline to turn in. After these are turned in, I will be going though and providing some feedback on where you should go from here.

When you finish connecting the skills to the CRP’s you will create a brief description or example of that skill and how it relates to your specific internship. This is the beginning stages of your research where you conduct preliminary research pertaining to our specific topic and analyze 1- what’s interesting to you, 2- if it is valid and reliable research and 3- if there is enough information for you to be successful. When we finish, we will narrow these five down to your one topic of choice.

If you would like to use graphics to demonstrate the structure of your company you may do so. Be as creative as you would like. You can also use the attached rubric for more details of grading of this assignment. The goal of this assignment is to invest yourself in the company you are interning at. Learn more about the company and become a responsible citizen in the workplace by demonstrating responsibility and ownership over your internship. This is a great soft skill to learn and use outside of school and in the workplace.

Remember to keep in mind the meaning of a S.M.A.R.T goal. Please use the attached rubric for reference on grading of this document. your goals should align with the S.M.A.R.T points. You should also have a minimum of 3 identified goals (Beginning, Middle and End of internship).
