Photography: Traditional and Digital; this class is designed to train students for careers in photography and or options related to photography. Within this class students will learn black and white film developing, black and white negative printing, basic photographic presentation techniques, both analog and digital photographic equipment identification and the use and understanding of photographic editing processes. Though laboratory experiences students will be introduced to different aspects of photography to include, commercial photography, photojournalism, portraiture, product and fine art photography. A major emphasis is placed on the fine arts aspect of photography though critiques and analysis of the great masters of photography. In addition, students will critically analyze and interpret the history of photography and its impact on current trends within photography.
