Holocaust Art and Writing Contest

The Holocaust Art and Writing Contest is open to all students on campus. Entries must be art, film, poetry, or essay. The theme for this year is “I Have a Story to Tell.” If you are interested please talk to Mrs. Leon in Room 808 to receive more information and sign up. All entries must be submitted by December 16th. A total of three entries from three individual students will be selected to enter the contest and represent Valencia HS. The selected students will be eligible to win a first prize award of $500. Also, first place winner, their parent/guardian and teacher will be invited to participate in an expense-paid study trip June 25-29,201, to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and other sites in Washington, D.C. Students awarded second prize will receive $300. Please contact Mrs. Leon in Room 808 for more information.
