Welcome!

Hi all!

As a 2007 graduate of Valencia High School, I am overjoyed to be serving the community I have grown up in.  I earned an undergraduate degree in Human Services from Cal State Fullerton in 2012, which led me to work within the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District for many years until I returned to school in 2019 to pursue a masters degree in Educational Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential from University of La Verne. I began serving as a school counselor with Pomona Unified School District at a K-5 elementary school, and soon accepted an opportunity to return to my home school here at VHS to support the students and families within our shared community.

For the 22-23 school year I will be serving all students in the Val Tech program and students with the last names starting Pi - Rod. As a student-centered counselor, I strive to serve all students through a holistic lens and advocate for the equity and inclusion of all to access and succeed within the pathway of their choosing.

I look forward to working each of you and serving the VHS community as a whole. Go Tigers!

There is always light. If only we're brave enough to see it. If only we're brave enough to be it.” - Amanda Gorman
