Hello parents and students, my name is Mrs. Howard. I grew up in Orange County and I graduated from Canyon High School in Anaheim Hills. My whole life I wanted to be a Dentist until I became an AVID tutor while I was in college. The second I stepped into the classroom I knew that this was where I was meant to be. I graduated from UC Irvine (Go Anteaters) with a degree in Biology. I obtained my teaching credential and Master's degree from National University. I currently live in Yorba Linda with my husband, my 2-year-old daughter named Sadie, my 10-month-old son named AJ, and my two fur babies, Stanley and Charlie. I love watching sports with my friends and family, including hockey, football, and soccer. My hobbies include camping, hiking, reading, watching scary movies, cooking, traveling, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family, and relaxing.
 
I have a huge passion for Biology and my goal is to show my students how exciting and interesting science truly is. I am looking forward to an awesome year at Valencia High School.
