Welcome!

I graduated Valencia High School in 1994. I then attended Fullerton College majoring in Biology. Afterwards, I went on to University of California, Irvine where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Psychology with an emphasis in medicine. On my path to medical school, I took a left turn into the research world where I studied the neuro-biological and physiological mechanisms in individuals with developmental disabilities. I had the pleasure of collaborating with scientists across disciplines and around the world. Consequently, my aim is to expose students to the many the myriad possible pursuits in Science and Medicine. It is a great feeling to be back at the school that allowed me to spread my intellectual wings and develop the confidence to be curious. I hope to provide similar opportunities to my students. As a whole, we at Valencia aim to not only have the students to learn content material, but also Learn to Learn. Thus they will be equipped to meet and exceed the requirements to become successful members of society as adults.
