Dear Students and Parents: Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am looking forwarding to meeting and working with you this coming year. This is my sixth year teaching at  Valencia High School even though I have been teaching for over 30 years. After high school, I attended Long Beach City College where I received my A.S. degree. I attended Mary Baldwin College to complete B.A. in Business and Computer. I earned my master's degree in M.A.L.S. from Hollins University with a concentration in Computer. Welcome to the wonderful world of Technology I know together we will make it a fantastic year. I look forward to teaching AP Computer Science Principles again this year and I will also be teaching AICE Computer Science AS. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you have. Email is the best way to reach me. Another great place to get information is from your Aeries account, which I update often. I actively use Google Classroom, so please make sure to check your Google Classroom page for assignments. Thank you in advance for your commitment to success this year! Sincerely, Veronica Van Deventer [email protected] 714-996-4970 ext 10164
