go pride is a positive experience hero Valencia High School it is something that is very evident and Athletics and performing large programs  hi I'm Kevin McConnell valentia High School athletic director valenza High School how's model of Pride tradition of Excellence can be seen in many facets of the schools long and Rich history Excellence is the key word when speaking of athletes such as Michelle Grainger Julie swell hurdle crystalline Chris draft Valenca open his doors in 1933 but the first Athleta team didn't start playing until 1935 when boys athletics became a member of the CIF from 1935 to 1976 the girls competed in the Girls Athletic Association and then finally became a member of CIF in 1977 boys and girls can buy and have one 213 leak titles 15 CIF championships 25cf runner-up titles and over 30 individual Champions go Tigers the valentia choir program offers a variety of choirs including both audition groups and classes that are open to the general public there that way over 200 students enrolled in the program Chambers and vocal jazz I have singing the National Anthem at Staples Center for the LA Clippers as well as at the Western Conference finals for the LA Galaxy performing for over 30,000 people the choirs perform regularly at Disneyland and recently performed alongside Edward James Olmos in the prestigious Disneyland Candlelight ceremony  several choir me have had the privilege of being selected to sing in the California All Southern as well as the Allstate on requires for form of lunch of high school seniors are members or were members of the play recognize vocal Jazz group Pacific Standard time at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal State Long Beach to former tigers are currently working as choir directors at the high school and Middle School levels the bunch of high school orchestras have been recognized as one of the Premier Orchestra programs in Southern California the Orchestra program consists of four string orchestra and a full Symphony Orchestra all of the orchestra's can chosen to perform at high-profile Community performances and through these events have performed for thousands of people in the community as well as visitors from many regions of the world the Valencia orchestras have distinguished themselves by performing a wide variety of challenging orchestral literature highest level at music festivals where they have consistently received unanimous Superior ratings with over 200 students the Orchestra program at Valencia a very popular activity where students can begin their freshman year in the entry-level concert Orchestra or audition for one of the other three more advanced orchestras which include the chamber orchestra camerata and Sinfonia  our top two orchestras perform some of the most challenging music literature with the rivonia Orchestra distinguishing Itself by performing many professional level orchestral works we are proud of the many Valenca students who have continue with their music education at the University level where many of the students have gone on to careers as professional Orchestra musicians and music teachers we hope that participating in the valentia high school Orchestra program will be a meaningful and deeply enjoyable experience that students will always remember the tiger regiment is one of the most comprehensive music programs in all of Orange County the concert Jazz and marching are among the best California are winterguard and winter percussion are in the top 10 of the western United States many students from Valencia High School go on to get scholarships to the most prestigious colleges universities and music schools in our country the tiger regiment is built on a tradition of Pride excellence and dedication to Quality Music pharmacist
