Valencia High School Student Parking Policies
Students are requested to park only in the student parking lot. Campus area traffic regulations are enforced by the Placentia Police Department in compliance with CVC 21113. The following violations will be cited by the Placentia Police Department.

PARKING VIOLATIONS

  • Parking in a red or green zone.
  • Blocking of any driveway.
  • Parking in a bus zone.
  • Parking other than between the lined painted on the pavement of the parking lot.
  • Parking on driveways, access areas, field, or non-blacktop areas.
  • Driving in excess of 5 miles per hour on school grounds.

Students are not to be in the parking lot at any time during the school day without a special permit or authorization by school officials. Parking is on a first-come, first serve basis. There is no designated or preferential parking for students.

Students parking in staff/visitors parking stalls will be subject to the following consequences:

CONSEQUENCES
  • Incident 1 Police citation for parking illegally/parent contact/Saturday work program
  • Incident 2 Police citation for parking illegally/Saturday work program
  • Incident 3 Police citation for parking illegally/ automobile will be towed at owner's expense.
