Students are required to work 3 shows every six weeks. A long running show may count for more than one show. Students will have hands on learning experiences in every technical area of theatre, from house management, sound , lighting, rigging, grips, props, costumes, make up to stage management. Students will also, read and analyze for technical purposes the plays that will be performed by VHS drama students. Students will learn theatre terminology, safety and etiquette. Students will learn and practice theatre design and have the opportunity to compete in several drama festivals. Students will keep a record of their work in a portfolio.
