Materials:

Plastic drinking straws (not the Boba straws)

Glue

Raw Egg (I will provide the egg)

Objective:

You are to construct a container that will stop an egg from breaking when it is dropped off of the stadium seats.

Requirements:

· No more than 6 x 6 x 6 in3

· You may use only drinking straws and glue

· You may work with a partner or individually

· I do not accept late projects

· You must be able to insert the egg on the day of the drop and retrieve the egg afterwards

Grading:

Full Credit = egg survives with no cracks

79 % = small fracture, no leaking

69 % = did the project, but egg broke

No credit = didn’t bring project
