We are reading the An Everyday Use by Alice Walker in class this week. One of the main themes in the story is heritage. The students were asked to create a collage illustrating thier heritage. The following are the project guidelines:
1. Collage must be on a 8.5X14 piece of paper-nothing smaller.
2. Should include items from each category on your "Heritage Chart".
3. Must contain pictures, magazine cut-outs, clip arts, or personal drawings.
4. No written words or explanations. If you are including a family saying it must be typed or clipped from a magazine.
5. All pictures and phrases must be school appropriate.
6. Due Date: Friday, September 22nd.
