Description

Advanced Placement (AP) Human Geography (AP HuG) examines the processes and patterns of human development in relationship to the resources of the earth. This two-semester course is required for all incoming students planning to enter the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma program. Even though AP Human Geography qualifies for only one-half AP credit, VHS offers the course over two semesters in order to accommodate development of essential skills needed for successful completion of the IB social studies curriculum.
