Due:

HW 5-26--A Mini Statistics Project

This week, I am assigning a project that I traditionally have given all of my students after their AP Exam.  We will have to adapt as best we can... so here ya go.
1.  If possible watch (rent?) the movie "A Civil Action (Click to watch the trailer)" starring John Travolta, directed by Steven Zallian.
2. Download the attached documents.  "Civil Action Worksheet", and "JASAWoburnWater".  The second is an article from the Journal of the American Statistical Association.
3.  Type your answers to the questions in the worksheet in a Google Doc.  Be sure to make use of the equation editor when appropriate.
4.  Submit your Google Doc to the AP Statistics Class in Google Classroom.  The join code is 4ossyb4.

Due:

HW 5-20

Let's do one last review question together-- it is on AP Classroom today. I will have it scored tomorrow afternoon for feedback before your exam.
Also, we have two more weeks of class after your exam.  You have a very brief project (it takes a total of about 3-4 hours) AND a final exam.
There will be more details about this on Monday of next week.

Due:

HW 5-11

While not everyone has an AP Exam EVERY day, at least one of you will be taking an exam on  EVERY exam day. So...
This week's review questions on AP Classroom are ALL optional.  I will score them and discuss them via video as usual for everyone who submits work.  I would also be glad to arrange a meeting with you online-- just let me know.
I do recommend continuing to stay practiced up until the last exam day.  You will be understandably tired, and maybe a little "burned out"  BUT you are almost done!  Finish well!

Due:

HW 5-7

1.  If you haven't already, complete Practice Exam #2 by following YESTERDAY's LINK
I am expecting you to complete both timed exams AND watch the review of the solutions.  These are unique opportunities to hear from the "insiders" in the AP Statistics community-- the same people who write the questions and read your responses.  We will continue reviewing after this week and getting you ready for exam day.

Due:

HW 5-8

Hopefully by now you have completed TWO Practice Exams, and have carefully watched the discussions of the solutions.
There is one more final lesson from the College Board... so that will be your assignment today:
2.  Complete this Google Form so I can have a good idea of which AP tests you'll be taking these next two weeks.
I will provide you with more AP Statistics practice next week!

Due:

HW 5-5

1.  The solution to yesterday's optional FRQ practice is attached below.
2.  TODAY:  Click this link for a TIMED AP EXAM PRACTICE #1 The solutions will be discussed later today (11 am PDT... so make sure you do the exam first... BEFORE you listen to solutions.)  I believe there will be more live practice exams... so stay tuned to this page and participate in the practice exams.  I will too, and discuss them with you.

Today at 11 am you should take the
