Course Description

Welcome to the 2nd year of Language Arts IB. The summer before your senior year:
  • Get your college essays done.  I'm more than happy to read, edit, and offer suggestions on improving your essays, but I need time to do them.
  • Get your letters of recommendation in order.  Figure out who you're going to ask, then actually ask them, and give them some time to write.
Finally, many of you have asked what we'll be reading next year; here's the list (see attachment for the schedule). I encourage you to get your own copies of these books -- you'll need to learn how to mark in them for college. If you already have a copy but it's not the same edition, DON'T WORRY --you'll just have different page numbers . . .
