Course Description
Chemistry is a physical science but it also is a lab course so it meets letter D of the A-G requirements. Chemistry will explore the Periodic Table, the atom, reactions, states of matter, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, and nuclear chemistry. Chemistry is a very rigorous class with high expectations that the students regularly meet. If a student is struggling, I encourage them to seek help as soon as possible. Don't wait because what you learn in the Fall you'll use all year long. You can expect an average of one lab per unit. I look forward to a great year together.

Chemical Reaction Lab Nov 2-3
This lab will be a 1.5 day long lab. You will need to wear pants and closed toe shoes. It will be due Friday Nov. 7.
Hydrate Lab
Tuesday October 21.
Wear pants, closed toe shoes, and bring a hair tie if you have long hair. We will be using Bunsen Burners.
