General Math (Period 3)

Students will: receive instruction using the 4 basic operation s in decimals and fractions, apply arithmetic skills and formulas to solve problems, determine the appropriateness of an answer, and demonstrate knowledge of perimeter, area and volume. Students will be given the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to construct and interpret graphs and charts, find mean mode, and median and apply arithmetic skills to real world situations using ratios, proportions, and percent.  An introduction to pre-algebra skills such as order of operations and integers will also be included in the course content.
