Drawing and Painting (year 2), Advanced Drawing and Painting (year 3), AP 2-D Art and design (year 4 opt) (Period 2)

preq. Art Fundamentals or teacher approval.

 

Both Drawing and Painting: Students work more independently, creating works of art with a variety of mediums and choices of different subject matters.

 

AP class creates 2 dimensional works of art in a variety of mediums and subject matter in answer to an essential question they develop, along with short writings about each piece and an artist statement. All  AP guide-lines are applied to all classwork and work completed at home. This is a fast paced class with 1 piece due every 2 weeks with write ups.
