We are working on a casual meet-up for Friday night, August 21, at a local location with music provided by a fellow VHS alumni, Steve Metzger, from the Class of ’66. Steve is an artist, is on the faculty at Fullerton College, as well as a terrific musician who will entertain us with his blend of blues/country/folk music.
The main event will be held on Saturday evening, August 22 at 6:00 PM. The cost, for dinner and entertainment will be $95.00 per person for tickets purchased BEFORE July 15th, 2015. Payments received after July 15th, but PRIOR to August 10, 2014, will be $100.00 per person. Ticket cost August 10th and at the door will be $110.00 per person. We will hold all tickets for pick up at the door. Checks are to be made payable to Carolyn Meir-Caslin- VHS ’65 Reunion.
Those who do not want to participate in dinner may arrive after 8:00 PM for a charge of $25.00, to be paid at the door.
A full-color reunion memory book may be purchased that evening. If you are unable to attend event but would like a reunion memory book, you may pre-order one on the enclosed form.
We have arranged a discounted room rate for those of you who will be coming from out of town as well as those who just want to make a weekend of it. Brea like all of Orange County, has grown up a lot since we were cruising Imperial Hwy back in the ‘60’s and the Embassy Suites is well located adjacent to the Brea Mall, with a vast selection of shopping and entertainment options.
Our rates at the Embassy Suites are $124.00 for a King bed and $144.00 for two doubles and include breakfast at the hotel. These rates are good for any night you chose to book from August 20th through August 24th. It is also possible to book a suite if needed.
