Cathay Bank Foundation Scholarship

Deadline: March 27, 2019

-High school seniors who reside in California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington.
-Plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or Community College in the state of California, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington as a 1st year student in the Fall of 2019 (if selected, must provide college acceptance letter for verification)
-A minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
-A household income at or below the Low Income Level (if selected, must provide 2017 or 2018 tax return for verification)
-Open to ALL MAJORS and there is no ethnicity requirement
-Employees of Cathay Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible

Mega Bank Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 27, 2019

-High school seniors who reside in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California
-Plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University of California as a 1st year student in the Fall of 2019 (if selected, must submit college acceptance letter for verification)
-Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
-Have a household income at or below the County Low Income Level (must be able to show 2017 or 2018 tax return should applicant be selected for award)
-The scholarship is open to ALL MAJORS and there is NO ETHNICITY REQUIREMENT
-Employees of Mega Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply

Royal Business Bank Scholarship

-High school seniors who reside in East Coast – (New York City): New York County, King County, Queens County, and Richmond County or the West Coast – (South California and Nevada): Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, and Clark County-Nevada.
-Plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or California/Nevada/New York Community College as a 1st-year student in the Fall of 2019 (if selected, must submit a college acceptance letter for verification)
-Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0

Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund

Deadline: March 27, 2019

-U.S. Citizen or U.S. permanent resident (holders of a Permanent Resident Card) AND a direct blood descendant of a Taiwanese citizen
- High school senior or 1st year college student residing in the United States
- Plan to attend a University or College as a 1st or 2nd year student in the Fall of 2019 in the United States (If selected, high school seniors must submit college acceptance letter for verification.)
- Have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school/college GPA of 3.0
- Have a household income at or below the Federal/State/County Low Income Level (Must be able to show 2017 or 2018 tax return should applicant be selected for award.)
- The scholarship is open to ALL MAJORS
- All awardees must submit a short YouTube video. Detailed instructions will be provided to awardees at a later time.

The Justin M. Sanchez Memorial for Higher Education Scholarship

Deadline: April 30, 2019

-Awarded to one VHS senior
-Justin is a son and nephew of many Valencia Tigers. It is his family’s desire to extend the scholarship program to a school that had a great impact on many of his family members. To provide a senior at Valencia High School who has this same perseverance and dream – to excel in community college and continue on to their dream school.

Rezvan Foundation Scholarship

Ideal Candidate:
● Is an adopted minor, a minor in foster care, and/or has one more parent who has
passed away
● Is a California resident
● Is currently enrolled in an accredited high school
● Has a GPA of 3.5 or higher
● Has submitted applications to one or more four year accredited university
● Has no disciplinary record (academic or criminal)
