Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

Deadline: April 2, 2019

-Must be graduating senior planning to attend and enroll full-time at an accredited vocational/ technical school, community college, or four year college/ university.
-Must have an academic non-weighted GPA of 2.3 or better.
-Need to have volunteered at the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce or with a Chamber Member.

PYLUC of PTAs/PTSAs Scholarship

Deadline: April 11, 2019 (to the VHS CCC)

-Student must be a member in good standing with the PTSA.
-Must plan to attend a college/university, community college or trade/ technical school.
-The minimum GPA qualification is 2.0, however the applicant's GPA will not be a factor in the review process.

Association of Placentia-Linda Educators Scholarship Application

Deadline: April 12, 2019

-Graduating senior from a PYLUSD high school with an unweighted academic grade point average of 3.0.
-Demonstrate involvement in and sensitivity to human, social, and civic issues, as well as demonstrate upstanding character such as responsibility, reliability, and integrity.
-Involvement in school and community activities
-Interest in a career involving some type of public service
3. Scholarship recipients must register in an accredited Institution of higher learning, and bring a
letter of acceptance to APLE office to receive funds.

Deadline: April 12, 2019

-Open to graduating seniors who live within the PYLUSD boundaries
-Recognizes students who are involved in service activities for their community and school
-Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 unweighted and plan to attend a 4 year or 2 year college

The Daniel Carlos Herrera Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: April 29, 2019

-Must be a graduating high school senior who is pursuing a career in education or community service with a focus on serving an ethically diverse society.
-Must be bilingual in Spanish/English or have a Native American Tribal Affiliation.
-Need to be a resilient student who in their earlier career had academic or personal obstacles to overcome.
-Student needs to be involved in outside community work or service.

-Must be a High School bilingual senior who is planning to enroll in courses leading towards a teaching or counseling credential addressing the needs of English learners through the promotion of Bilingual Education.
