National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is a society composed of the most well-rounded students a school has to offer. These students take academically rigorous and challenging courses, (including AP/IB/Honors classes) involve themselves, and are leaders in clubs on campus, are involved in extra-curricular activities on and off-campus, and provide service to their school and community.

They push themselves throughout all four years of high school and strive to make themselves, their school, and their community a better place.

NHS membership is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. A faculty council nominates and elects members based on scholarship (3.75 minimum non-weighted academic GPA), exemplary character, proven leadership and service.

Nominated juniors and seniors will be sent an information form during the first weeks of the third quarter. Students may be excluded from NHS if they fail to uphold the Society's standards. For more information, visit the NHS website at http://www.nhs.us/.
