ABOUT ME
As a member PYLUSD's mental health team, my goal is to prioritize the wellbeing and mental health of our students. With an array of interventions and evidence-based practices, I offer short-term group and individual support based on need. As an essential part of the VHS team, I support students and families through high-risk situations with a high standard of care. I understand that many students and families can face a variety of challenging situations that may hinder performance in school and my goal is to work alongside them to create continuity of care that allows them to achieve their highest potential.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Wellness Counseling can address many issues, such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Drug/Substance/Alcohol Use
- Family Concerns
- Academic Stress
- Grief
- Suicidal Ideation
- Trauma
- Self-Harm
SERVICES OFFERED
Wellness Services can include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Individual, Group, Crisis Counseling
- Risk and Suicide Assessment
- Social and Emotional Support
- Referral and Linkage to Community Resources
- Brief Intervention Drug/Substance Use Counseling
HOW CAN WE CONNECT?
Wellness counseling services are available to VHS students through a referral process. Please talk to your school counselor to determine if Wellness Counseling services would be beneficial for you.
