**** Leslie high school we embrace our motto Pride tradition and accident and everything we do we take pride in our Stellar athletic and Performing Art program children 390,000 high schools by needless magazine and 540 II by Washington Post hello I'm Jim Bell principal of Valencia High School Valencia High School one of the oldest schools in Orange County we are almost 80 years old  but I can possibly tell you today across-the-board Weatherby academic Athletics the Performing Arts or academic competition we are stronger now than we've ever been during our 80-year history and academics we offer 20 IB and 27 AP courses college-level courses in addition with the courses we offer through Valtech we are comfortable when we can say that we have courses high-level courses for any student who is trying to advance to post secondary studies in fact where are IB pass rate was 92% nrap pass rate was 85% Manchester Stanley I am the counselor for the bunch of caddy program the bunch of caddy program consists of two high-end academic programs International Baccalaureate Academy and the bunch of Technology Academy International Baccalaureate is a internationally-recognized high-end rigorous Academic Program send text to complete a full year of college while they're in high school by taking a series of honors advanced placement and IB classes in the international Baccalaureate program they also do a major research paper called extended essay they complete 150 our service project called cast and they participate in a seminar class call the theory of knowledge the Valtech program focuses on computer education Technology and Engineering and students complete 4 years of college prep alongside of electives in either media arts engineering technology or computer science and the culminating activity for the valve Tech diploma is 150 hour formal internship at one of our local computer science engineering businesses business is like Raytheon business like Wang Orange County Register  the IB program is designed to give diploma folders access to the leading universities in the world students must complete six internationally grated exams take a course and Tok and complete community service hours during the 9th and 10th grade pre IB student prepare for the program by taking honors courses in the core subject areas Valenca and courage is all qualified students to apply to the IB Program while academic success is important characteristic such as work ethic and dedication also go a long way to success in the program bike-a-thon the Valtech coordinator here at lunch high school and valtec has something for everybody weather interested in going to Stanford or Harvard or UCLA or Cal State Fullerton horse the terrible wanted to help prepare you for your future the first thing I think about when we're talking about going to high school and valtec is more we have more computer labs more technology on our campus we have more classes available we have more true path to explore we have more variety of classes within each career path we have going to take our tech classes we have more industry-standard software that's used we have more opportunities to take classes that are related technology we have more internship sites for seniors we have more possibilities for all of our students bottom-line Valtech has more for your future and because we have more and girls combined have won 200 three League titles 14 CIF championships 21 CIF runner-up titles 425 individual champions  Bender Performing Arts our choir is now the largest choir program in our school district add is our Orchestra program in fact our top Orchestra are simfonia maybe the top string instrumental group in all of North Orange County Barb and now is the second largest program in our school district and our Color Guard is award-winning Color Guard one of the top and Southern California those programs coupled with our Dance Program very strong dance program and drama program makes us a destination school for the Performing Arts Belleza choir program offers a variety of choirs including both addiction groups and classes that are open to the general public there are currently over 200 play the temp off in the program include the chamber singers and vocal Jazz the vocal Jazz group has had the honor of seeing the national at Staple Center for the LA Clippers as well as at the Western Conference finals for the LA Galaxy the choirs have traveled extensively throughout California as well as soon next city choir member that had the privilege of being selected to sing and the California All Southern as well as all state Honor Choir turn on the lights are high school students received music scholarships and go on to study music at prestigious universities Blount High School orchestra have been recognized that's one of the Premier Orchestra programs in Southern California the Orchestra program consists of four orchestras and a full Symphony Orchestra all of the orchestra's been chosen to perform at high-profile Community performances and through these events have performed for thousands of people in the community as well as visitors from many RI to the world bar-top to orchestras perform some of the most tell Angie music literature with the Sinfonia Orchestra distinguishing Itself by performing many professional level Orchestra work we are proud of the Valencia student who have continued their music education at the University level where several students have gone on to careers as professional orchestral musician and music tiger regiment is one of the most comprehensive music programs in Orange County the concert Jazz and marching add are among the best in California are Winter Guard and winter percussion line is in the top 10 in the Western United States many shuttles from Fletcher High School go on to earn music scholarships at some of the most prestigious colleges universities and music schools in our country the tiger regiment is building tradition of Pride excellence and dedication to Quality Music performance MP3 in only celebrated its 75th Anniversary as he walked on the campus you're constantly reminded of the school's Rich history and tradition many structures are actually is Oracle landmarks for example the drama room was actually bought in 1912 and was originally the single room Bradford Elementary School and was recently remodeled in 2011 federal emergency administration of Public Works project which is built in 1936 during the Great Depression Renovations and construction projects
