CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Eighty-six Orange County students were selected by their high schools for their efforts to strengthen their communities, think creatively, conserve nature and live healthier as part of the Disneyland Resort’s “Dreamers & Doers” awards.

Disneyland Resort's Dreamers & Doers logo. The community service program was created by the resort with the goal of encouraging and spotlighting high schoolers who give back to their communities through volunteering and other work.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations to senior, Alexander Behura for being named to Orange County Register’s “100 Top Influencers in Orange County”. Way to go Tiger!

Inspired by his younger brother Max, who has autism, Behura helped create an autism awareness and support program called Member of Autism Care Services (the MAX Program) that the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort adopted to better care for families with autistic children.

Spanish-Speaking Parent Information Event

Spanish-speaking parent information event at Valadez Middle School Academy this Saturday, January 20th in the VMSA library from 9am to 1pm. Computers, translators, and food will be available. Topics include Aeries, graduation requirements, and other school issues. Let's be partners in your child's education!........................................

Financial Aid Night- November 7, 2017

Seniors, do you need money for college? Are you nervous about the financial aid process? Attend Financial Aid Night at Valencia on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30pm. English and Spanish presentations will be available to assist in the financial aid process as well as go over the forms needed in order to be considered for federal and state aid. Child care will be available for children 10 years old and younger. This is an important night so we encourage all seniors and parents to attend.

Tiger University: CSU Applications- November 6, 2017

Attention Parents and Students, Tiger University be hosting a Cal State application workshop on Monday, November 6th at 7:30am in the College and Career Center. A Cal State Fullerton Representative will be presenting on the new Cal State Application and demonstrating how to navigate through the system. They will discuss key information as well as strategies to use in order to successfully complete the application. Come to learn more and ask questions. See you there!

PYLUSD College and Career Fair- October 26, 2017

Attention Parents and Students: There will be a district-wide College and Career Fair on Thursday, October 26th from 6:00pm- 8:15pm at the Yorba Linda Community Center. There will be a variation of schools including many UCs, Cal States, Private Schools, and Community Colleges. You will also get the opportunity to learn more about the Career Technical Education Pathways local Community Colleges have to offer. Additionally, three breakout sessions will be offered on topics of Admissions, Financial Aid, and SAT/ACT Prep. Come join us for this exciting event!
