College Link Courses available NOW!

Tigers, do you want to show universities that you are college ready? Would you like to earn FREE transferable college credits? Spring College Link Courses are now available! This is a great opportunity to show you are college ready, while earning free college credits.

Interested students will need to complete several steps to be eligible. To sign up, please visit https://bit.ly/SpringCollegeLink or contact Mrs. Hughes at chughes@pylusd.org.

*Course priority will be given to 11th and 12th graders and high school GPA will be taken into consideration.

Tiger University (10/12/20): Common App Workshop- via ZOOM

Seniors, are you applying to a private or out of state college and need assistance with the Common App process? Tiger University will be hosting a Common App workshop on Monday, October 12th at 7:00am and 1:30pm. Join us via Zoom- check your school email for the link or email chughes@pylusd.org!

Virtual College Visits

This Fall we will be hosting virtual college visits with schools all across the nation. Students are welcome to join the Zoom meetings to learn more about each school! Dates can be found on the VHS College and Career Center page.

Tiger University (9/14/20): CSU & UC Applications- via ZOOM

Seniors, do you need help navigating through UC and Cal State Applications? Do you want to learn more about the application process and what it entails? Tiger University is kicking off the year with a workshop on the UC and Cal State Applications. Join us via Zoom on Monday, September 14th at 7:00am or 1:30pm!

Senior Financial Aid Workshops- Every Tuesday in February!

VHS will be hosting Financial Aid Workshops for seniors and their parents to assist in filling out the FAFSA or California Dream Act Applications. Representatives from SCC will be going over the applications step by step and will be available to answer any questions you may have. Workshops will be held in the College and Career Center from 2:45pm- 4:00pm every Tuesday in February!

Don't forget, all Financial Aid Applications are due MARCH 2nd!

2019 Boys State Application- Now Open!

Boys State is a leadership and citizenship conference hosted by the Placentia American Legion Post in Sacramento on June 22- June 29, 2019. This opportunity is available to VHS Junior boys. Interested students should submit the completed application to Mr. Stanley by 3pm, February 15, 2019.

Tiger University: NCAA Eligibility Workshop- April 23, 2018

Attention Parents and Students: Tiger University will be holding a workshop on NCAA and NAIA eligibility on Monday, April 23rd at 7:30am in the College and Career Center. If students are interested in continuing their athletic career while in college, this workshop is perfect as it will go over what courses and steps students have to complete in high school in order to be able to play sports in college. Join us Monday to learn more and ask questions.

Fall ROP (Off-Site) Class Registration Now Open!

ROP Off-Site (Regional Courses) registration is now open! Pls see your counselor or Mrs. Douglas for more questions. To apply, simply review the class offerings/Catalog for the 2018-19 year and download the application; fill out completely and return to us by May 31st or sooner! These classes are considered "Fall" term and are offered Off-Site (you need your own transportation) and students earn credit and are working toward a CTE Pathway!

Tiger University: Community College Applications- February 5, 2018

Attention Parents and Students: Tiger University will be hosting a community college application workshop on Monday February 5th at 7:30am in the College and Career Center. We will be going step by step through the application process and will answer any questions you may have regarding community college. Come by the morning of February 5th to learn more!
