Military Academy Night

Attention students who are interested in attending and applying to the U.S. service academies. Military Academy Night will be held on Wednesday, September 30, at 6 pm, in Buena Park City Hall. We will have representatives from the Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, Military Academy at West Point, and the Naval Academy, as well as representatives from parent associations and the civil air patrol. PSAT/NMSQT- Wednesday, October 14th, 2015

The PSAT/NMSQT will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2015 at Valencia High School. Purchase your PSAT exam for $30 starting now through the summer on our webstore. All college-bound juniors are strongly encouraged to take the exam. Sophomores and freshmen are welcome to take the exam as well.

UC Personal Statement Prompts

The personal statement prompts will remain unchanged for the upcoming application cycle. Students are encouraged to begin working on their personal statements over the summer.

Parent University offers College Essay Writing – Walk Away With a Draft (Two Saturday Sessions for Students)

Space is limited to 30 students and they are encouraged to attend both sessions. They will leave the second session with a completed college essay in hand and there is no cost for the class. Students can register through our District website by clicking on the Parent University tab, then clicking on "Navigating the College System" and the class is listed last on the page.

Students other than Juniors are welcome to attend, but Juniors are the primary audience.

PCHS Summer School Portal Now Open

The summer school portal for PCHS (college-prep, online courses) is now open. The following link contains more information on the application process. The deadline for incoming Academy students to turn in their PCHS Health applications is April 3rd. The deadline for current VHS students to turn in their PCHS applications is May 1st.
