Placentia Heritage Festival

Date: October 13, 2018

Location: Tri-City Park

Shift 1: Pancake Breakfast 5:00am - 12:00am

Meet us in the parking lot at Parkview School, near Tuffree Middle School.

Shift 2: Heritage Festival 12:00am - 4:00pm

Come find us at our booth.

Interactors Needed: 15
 
In the morning, we will set-up the Pancake Breakfast, serve food, and clean-up. During the festival, we will be helping Craftsman sell food. Towards the end, we will help take down canopies and help other people clean-up their booth.
 

Library Staff Appreciation Picnic

Date: October 28, 2018 (tentative)

Location: Tri-City Park

Shift 1: 8:00am - 11:00am

Shift 2: 11:00am - 3:00pm

Interactors Needed: 5

 

This event is a picnic for the Placentia Library Staff. We will be helping out with set-up, games, and clean-up. Food will be provided!

 

Rose Parade Float Decoration

Date: December , 2018 (We are still determining a date to help decorate)

 

Location: Phoenix Decorating Company

We will help decorate a float with the Rotary Club of Placentia. This will be an all-day event and transportation will be provided. Meet us at Valencia High School.

 

Author’s Luncheon

Date: March 2019 (TBD)

Location: Alta Vista Country Club

Shift: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00

Interactors Needed: 3

 

Interactors will help set-up this event, serve food to the attendees, and clean-up afterward. Dress code is business casual, white dress shirt/blouse and long black dress pants/skirt.

 

Easter Eggcitement

Date: March 23, 2019

Location: Kraemer Park

Shift: 1: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. - Set up

Shift: 2: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Event

Shift: 3: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Clean up

 

Interactors Needed: 20

 

Interactors will set-up, work booths, and clean-up at this Easter Event. Activities include a train ride and an Easter egg-hunt, among others.
