Welcome!  I completed my undergraduate degree at Cal State Long Beach with a major in Human Development then went to Chapman University where I completed my Masters Degree and Pupil Personnel Services Credential in Education with an emphasis in School Counseling. Upon graduation from Chapman in 2006, I began counseling with Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District and am in my 14th year of counseling, 11 of which have been at Valencia. Having grown up in the Placentia-Yorba Linda School District, I am ecstatic about giving back to the community that gave so much to me. Prior to starting my counseling career, I have worked with students in a variety of settings including many years of working in childcare to working in a group home.
For the 2020-2021 school year my caseload includes all students in the Val-Tech program and students with the last names starting Mos-Roc. My goal is to help our students reach their highest potential and for all our students to have success both in and out of the classroom.
My husband and I live here in Placentia with our three young boys (oldest is 4 and twins are 2) and we love exploring the outdoors with them. Seeing the world through their eyes makes me appreciate each moment and reminds me of our individuality.
I look forward to working with you and your students!
