PTSA Honorary Service Awards

Honorary Service Awards are awarded to recognize individuals and organizations for outstanding community service to children and youth in a community. For each honorary service award presented, a donation is made to the California State PTA scholarship program in the recipient’s honor. Awards may be bestowed upon a teacher, administrator, school staff member, parent volunteer, or an organization who has gone “above and beyond” in their service to Valencia High School and its students.

The following award categories are available for nomination:

  • Very Special Person Award – May be given to recognize the service of an individual or PTA/PTSA constituent organization/group.
  • Honorary Service Award – May be given to an individual in the PTSA, school or community in special recognition of outstanding service to children and youth.
  • Continuing Service Award – May be given to an individual in the PTSA, school or community, in recognition of outstanding service to children and youth. This award may be given to those whose contributions have been significant over a continuing period of time.
  • Golden Oak Service Award – May be given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in the PTSA, school or community.
